What I like about teaching
All the wonderful things I can learn from my students, and watching them learn from me.
My advice to students of English
Don't be afraid. If you expect to go from beginner to advanced without making a single mistake you will never get anywhere.
Three things I like
Smažený sýr, Brain training games, Gothic literature
My favourite English word
podcast. I like listening to spoken word audio and like to keep abreast of new words as they appear so this fits nicely. Its also a mix of two words together, which I always enjoy.
My favourite Czech word?
Kotě, that should be self explanatory.
Something special about me
Before settling on this career I worked as; a news editor, freelance writer, an archaeologist, a mentor, a political office assistant, a voice actor and several other things.
I flew a plane at 14 years old and won a few medals in target shooting at 15.
What I like most about P.A.R.K.
Experienced and professional teachers and a supportive structure. It feels more like a place of learning than most private language schools. The attention paid to students needs and to efficient education is unmatched. Most of all it is a friendly environment that supports more creative teaching.
