Professional Development Sessions by popular P.A.R.K. Conference presenters
We have asked P.A.R.K. Conference presenters to share their knowledge and experience in a range of sessions full of practical activities.

Introducing our Speakers

You can expect sessions by the following:

Neil Anderson
Neil works as a freelance teacher trainer for various organisations including International House Budapest, Euroexam International, ALS House and The Distance DELTA. He is also co-author of the Delta Publishing title Ideas in Action: Activities for Task-based Learning, and co-run the blog Fluency First ELT (https://fluencyfirstelt.blog/), a site devoted to online task-based lessons.

Vlad’ka Skopcová
Vlaďka Skopcová has over 20 years’ experience of teaching both young learners and adults in a range of situations. Having completed her CELTA and DELTA, she started working as a DOS and a TEFL trainer. Vlaďka currently divides her time between teaching and teacher training. She has been working for Macmillan Education since 2014.

Kate Powers
Kate has been a proud resident of the Czech Republic since 2009. Along with a TEFL certificate, she holds a U.S. teaching qualification and master's degree in Education. She is a former vice principal of a Czech-English bilingual primary and secondary school. She currently offers individual English to children and schools through hybrid learning with the program SciLearn English.

Radka Malá

As a teacher trainer and conference speaker, she follows the same principles as a language teacher; activate your students, make the session meaningful and have fun!

Keep an eye on this page! We are currently working on the programme and we will keep adding names of speakers.

The course programme will be tailored towards your needs. You will have a change to select topics and themes that are relevant to you. For example: topics including skills, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, critical thinking, motivation, classroom management, warmers, fillers, and coolers.

The final course programme will be shared with you one week before the course.

Input sessions followed by an informal round table discussion
Working in a small group, you will be able to fully benefit from this development opportunity.
The course will consist of 3 days of 7 teaching hours. The day will be divided into three blocks of 90 minutes. The last block will be followed by a round table during which the presenters and participants can mingle to discuss current teaching topics and issues.

Course programme accredited by the Ministry of Education
The course programme is fully accredited by the Ministry of Education. You may use your “Šablony” to finance this unique development opportunity. You can also use bonus points from P.A.R.K. Cambridge Exam Centre to pay for the course.
